Happy Easter!!

Ok first things first, if you have never played the game Quelf then I want you to get in your car right now,........go on get in your car, drive to the nearest store,........are you driving yet, and Buy this game!!! It is So Much FUN!!! Especially if you are with your family and you're not afraid to act a little stupid. Ok so by now you should be back home with the game so now you need to play it........Seriously play it now, it's ok I can wait till your done.

So you're done playing, good wasn't it Amazing!! Yeah I knew it would be. Alright so here's what happened on Easter in the Jacobson household!! We went to General Conference then went back to my parents for a delicious dinner and a fun Easter Egg hunt. I was the only one missing an egg by the end so if one is found it's mine!! After the egg hunt and after we went through all our loot, some of us played Quelf, the best game ever, here are some of the great things we had to do.

I had to wear a belt, Laura's belt, on my head for most of the game!!!

Ty had to make a mask and wear it, lol it was pretty scary!!

Ty also had to bellydance hahaha :) He was pretty good at it!! heehee

Oh how cute!! Matt and Brandon had to dance like they were at prom. Precious :)

So lately I've been attempting to make different cupcakes. I'm going to try and document what I do so here it goes. I started out with a simple chocolate fudge cake mix and added some raspberry extract. I then filled them with a cream filling, which after much experimenting with it, I have found the perfect filling!!! They tasted amazing!!

After!!! I took some to work and they asked me if I bought them. I said no I made them, they told me that they taste better than the ones at Cocoa Bean!! That kinda made my day :)

These are the ones I made for my family. I have to admit that the first batch, which I tried with a new recipe, Did Not turn out good at all!!! lol but I guess that's just part of the process. Things will fail. I used a different recipe and went from there. They turned out pretty good :)

I also made chocolate covered marshmallow easter eggs. This was my first time making these and they turned out good, just a couple set backs like the chocolate getting to hot after a while and it was melting my eggs. lol but all in all they turned out great for a first attempt. This week my roommate want me to help her make a cake for her friend using fondant. I'm way excited, I've always wanted to play with fondant. So I'll let you know how that one turns out.

Home sick so time to update :)

Well I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had a chance to blog, but today I'm home with strep throat so I figured this was my chance to update everything. I started my job at The Medicine Shoppe and I love it!! I was pretty nervous starting out and just hoped that I wouldn't mess up to bad. I know have the cash register down and have moved on to filling prescriptions, this made me super nervous because these go to people and what if I mess up and are they sure I should be doing this Ahhhhhhh Yeah I freaked out a little but so far everything has been going good. Right now I'm doing a little program to become a pharmacy technician. I figure this would be a good career so even if I don't go back to school this will be something I can always do.

So I have been living in my little apartment with one other girl, Lindsey, and we get along great and we each had our own room and it was just the perfect size for two people...... well this didn't last. A couple days ago I got a call from Paul, my landlord, saying another girl was moving in and she, well her parents, were paying for her to have her own room so me and Lindsey had to move in together. So first of all we weren't happy about that. Then she moved in and Paul catered to her every need. Now we've had problems in the past trying to get Paul to fix stuff, like our garbage disposal, but for Karen he put up curtains and put a new door handle on her door that locks with a key!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Wow Karen way to be untrusting of us before you get to know us, that's awsome!! Oh and when she introduced herself to us she said "Hi, I'm Karen and I live next door."................WHAT?!?! No you live next wall!! Then she makes comments to her friends basically that this is her place and we are just lucky to be living here at all. Really Karen, I've been here 7 months Grrrrrrrrr......Hopefully it gets better because right now me and Lindsey are just frustrated!!
