The Reason I'm Here

Sometimes I wonder why I even came here. Things happen that get me so stressed out that I make myself sick. Some times I miss home so much that I can't help but cry. So when all this stuff happens I think to myself why did I even come here? Well last friday I got my answer. I had been having a bad day, not only would Sebastian not go down for a nap but R.J. decided to make it better by spilling his drink all over the floor, himself, and his untouched food!! Andrew and Bella came home from school and as usual I got them started on there homework then started to get a snack ready. Adrew starts going through his bag and tells me that they had there Valentines Party that day and they each got a kit to make a candy necklace for there mom's for Valentines Day. He pulls out the necklace and tells me that he made it just for me and that he loves me and never wants me to leave. I just about started to cry, and gave him a big hug. He doesn't even how how much he made my day by doing that. But I came to realize that no matter how down things get, the little moments like that are the real reason I'm here and they make me So Glad that I decided to do this. These kids are the best and they have each taken a place in my heart.

Bella also made me a card that I thought was so cute. She's very good at drawing and is always making me pictures. When she brings home pictures from school she asks me to keep them because her parents will just throw them away. So I do because it makes her happy that someone cares about her drawings.

Valentine's Day

Since Sunday was Valentine's Day, we had a party for FHE on Monday. We each made our own little Valentine boxes just like in Elementary, then we put candy in each others. Some people really got into it and brought little Valentine cards. I think I got some princess fairy, and toy story cards. It made me feel like I was a little kid again. :)

Fun In The Snow!!

With all the snow we've been getting I figured playing in it was the only thing I could do to get me to like it again. It was fun playing in it but I still wish it would go away. We are getting more tonight so I'm probably going to have to go out and play in it again.

Missing Tooth

Bella lost her third tooth thursday morning before school. She was so excited, it's been loose for 4 days and she couldn't wait for it to come out. Expecially since she just saw the movie Tooth Fairy, she wanted to see the toothfairy. If Dwayne Johnson was really the toothfairy I would be knocking out my teeth too. :)

She also got a new pair of shoes last week that she absolutely LOVES!! They are very sparkly and they light up. She thinks they are the coolest thing ever!!

Human Battleship

Last night at FHE we were playing human battleship. The way you play this is we set up the volleyball net in the gym and draped blankets over it so you couldn't see either side. Then you break into teams, you lay down on the floor wherever you want and one team at a time you throw marshmallows over the net and you have to hit someone three times and they will be out. Well I showed up late so I missed that part. When I got there everyone was just throwing marshmallows at each other. Before I knew it someone grabbed me and used me as a shield as we ran across the gym. I was still trying to figure out what was going on as I was getting pelted with marshmallows. These people where not holding back at all, I got hit hard in the eye so many times that it probaby changed my prescription!! Two of my friends Rick and Jared decided it would be fun to then just target me, eventually the three of us sat in a circle and threw marshmallows at each other. The marshmallows where disgusting after being on the floor and stepped on, they where turning brown. It was really fun but it was a mess to clean up. Later when we were eating snack Carolyn came up behind me and made me spill my drink all over me, so of course I hade to run after her and throw the rest on her. :) Later a bunch of us where just talking and Leif said how funny it would be if we found marshmallows later when we got home. So I started looking and found two in my jacket pocket. However when I got home I took off my jacket and a stray marshmallow fell out. I don't know exactly where it was but it was there. :) All together it was an AWSOME night, it was the best time I've had since being here!!

Christmas At Home!!

I finally got my laptop fixed so I'm all set to blog again. I got to go home for Christmas and I was so excited. Of course I didn't enjoy the plane ride, way boring when there's no one to talk too. Tanille, Ty and the boys picked me up from the airport and it was so good to see them. I was so tired that whole day, I was up at 2:30 a.m. to catch my flight then with the 2 hr time differance I was exhausted!! But it was good to be home and hang out with my family Christmas Eve.

Opening my present from Dylan, it was in a box in a box in a box and so on till I got to the very bottom. I got an awsome bracelet watch that I love.

My mom gave all the grandkids a flute in their socks, they loved them and all the noise they made. I don't know how much everyone else liked them though. :)

I got a Willow Tree figurine for my mom .

I got a John Wayne fleece blanket for my dad. I've never seen him smile so big!! :)

Logan didn't remember me so he didn't really like me, but he really liked taking over the drums for me. By the end of my visit he let me give him a hug, now he's going to forget me all over again!

One of my friends in Virginia, Dallen, picked me up from the airport in Washington and took me back to the house. It sucked leaving Idaho again but it was kinda good to be back in Virginia too. Now I can't wait for my family to come to Virginia and see me, and untill then I'm going to miss them all!!
